I'm surprised how much I liked this story. To tell the truth, I wasn't expecting much. Probably because I thought it would be just about sex since the characters are filming porn. But I was wrong, it was much more.Griff and Dante are firemen and best friends, been that for years. Dante's family accepted Griff as their own when his mother died, because his dad worked too much. So those two have spent a lot of time together, shared chicks, have seen each other naked, got in trouble together, slept in the same bed... It was comfortable and familiar. But one day something changed in Griff and he started having stronger feelings for Dante.
Griff is fighting his love and urges through 3/4 of the book. He is disgusted by himself lusting after his best friend who couldn't be straighter. It pains him to watch Dante with all the girls that throw themselves at him, knowing he can never be with him the way he wants. But he gets a chance when Dante asks him to shoot a video of them together. The problem is that after the filming things between them start getting awkward and he is afraid that their friendship is coming to an end. So he decides to fess up but instead finds out that thing aren't as they seam.
I loved the connection between them, that true friendship; how much they trust and love each other. Dante is playful with black hair and olive skin. Griff is serious and more mature with ginger hair and fair skin. They are total opposites but complete each other so well. Sex scenes between them were flaming hot! And I don't think I've ever heard so many synonyms for jerking off.
Loved it but wished it was longer!
